Washtenaw Community College is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy place for our students, employees and community. Over the past three years, 十大彩票网赌平台 has required the reporting of COVID-19 exposures and conducted response protocols and mitigation efforts following the guidance of the Washtenaw County Health Department (WCHD) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Beginning with the Fall 2023 semester, in alignment with the end of the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency, the following provides direction for safety protocol and ongoing COVID-19 exposure.
Current guidance and related protocols are now dependent on personal responsibility for isolation, appropriate quarantine, exposure notifications and mask use.
- Campus protocols will continue to align with CDC and WCHD guidance.
- Masks are optional in all areas on campus.
- Individual reporting via the COVID-19 Exposure Form is no longer required.
- Personal responsibility is expected.
- If you’re sick, stay home.
- Isolate in the event of a positive COVID-19 test.
- Notify individuals who may have been exposed.
- Students are still expected to notify instructors if they will be out due to illness.
- Employees are expected to notify their supervisors.
- All individuals should continue to practice healthy hygiene habits to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and other illnesses.
